We had a small group of 6 divers, 3 of which had never dived there before.Unlike previous years, we decided to spend our whole trip here rather than ferry up to Cape Hatteras for a few days. Because of the conditions, we opted to stay closer to the west and chose the wreck of the Eureka. While never positively identified, the wreck of the Eureka may be an unidentified clam dredge. She sits in 100 feet of water 16 mile out of Jones Inlet.
